It is very much a Texas stereotype that things are bigger there than elsewhere.

I guess it shows you have to be careful with your tall person jokes: not only might the tall person not get them, they might not even get near them.
Definitely in the category of a one-way conversation too (she did expect a reply). “Wow, I thought they only made them that average-sized in Australia”?
